Our Mission

The ongoing mission of the ACT II Thrift Shop is to partially support the Madison ABC Program

and to contribute to humanitarian and other youth-related educational, cultural and social causes

on local, national and global levels.

Since its inception in July 2004, ACT II has contributed to the following:

The Madison ABC Program

Since 1970, Madison A Better Chance (ABC) has provided the opportunity for scholars from educationally disadvantaged environments who demonstrate motivation and leadership qualities to prepare for college and beyond. Living in the Madison community and attending Daniel Hand High School for four years, they acquire skills needed to excel in college and to ultimately assume positions of responsibility.

Madison ABC is a non-profit organization and relies solely on contributions from individuals, businesses, organizations, special project activities and the ACT II Thrift Shop.
